August 14, 2021  Halifax Agricultural Show 2021
Halifax, West Yorkshire, England
The Halifax Agricultural Show is the largest of its kind in the local region and offers something for everyone.  Farm and domestic animals will be shown, there's local produce, flowers, fruit & vegetables and crafts with entertainment such as showjumping, vintage vehicles, farmer's markets, stalls and demonstrations.

August 28-30, 2021  Foodies Festival 2021 - South Park, Oxford, England
Each year the ever-growing festival sees tens-of-thousands of visitors flock from the surrounding areas to feast on a vast array of culinary activities, making Foodies Festival the social event of the summer.  We have top chefs cooking in the Chef’s Theatre; wine, beer, and cocktails in the Drink’s Theatre and kids can learn to cook too in the Children’s Cookery Theatre;  A new Tasting Theatre with The Cake & Bake demonstrations; Wine and Champagne Theatre; Beer Theatre; A new Feasting Tent; Another exciting addition this year is the Vintage Tea Tent;  A new Chilli Food Market and Chilli Eating Challenge takes place at 5pm daily.

August 1-2, 2020  UK PIEFEST - Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England
This year’s PieFest event will be held in Melton Mowbray where visitors will enjoy all things pie-related, including sampling, buying, eating and even learning how to make your own pies. There wwill also be cheese, beer, cakes, wine, chutneys, cider and more, plus entertainment.

August 15-16, 2020 - Cheese and Chilli Festival
Winchester, Hampshire, England
The event will see cheese and chillis from around the world brought to you.  The event has an obvious focus on cheese and chilli, but there will be something for everyone at the event and is a perfect family day out.  If that wasn’t enough, there will be a fantastic Beer Festival all weekend from our very own Ringwood Brewery!  A huge selection of award winning real ales will be available as well as cider, wine, lager etc., so don’t worry about not being able to cool your palate down.  To complement the party, with a dedicated stage area, live music from many local acts will be performed at the event.

August 21-23, 2020  Great British Food Festival: Knebworth House Food Festival - Knebworth, Hertfordshire, England
More than ‘just another food festival’, The Great British Food Festival combines the nation’s love of great food and drink with some of the country’s most treasured locations, providing a unique opportunity to explore new flavours and beautiful venues, all at the same time! Open 10am-5pm each day. Dog friendly.  Entrance ticket includes free on-site parking and free access to 28 acres of spectacular formal Gardens including the Adventure Playground as well as the famous Dinosaur Trail and maze!

The festival for all those who love food, drink, homes and gardens. From award winning sausages and delicious home grown vegetables to tasty food to try and eat - as well as a champagne tent! - foodies won’t be able to get enough of all the delicious food and produce that’s on offer.

August 3, 2019 - Coventry Viva! Vegan Festival - Coventry, England
Viva! Vegan Festivals were born out of the wish to equip people with all the info they need to change themselves or to bring about change in others.  Our shows provide all the information anyone could ever want about going, being and staying vegan – or moving in that direction.  We show people first-hand how animals are suffering in and how healthy and delicious a vegan diet actually is!

August 3-4, 2019  Cheese and Chilli Festival - Cheltenham, England
The event has an obvious focus on cheese and chilli, but there will be something for everyone at the event and is a perfect family day out with FREE activities for children and adults to take part in as well as fun rides and games etc.  Other entertainments include, PIG RACING, Cooking Demonstrations, Presentations, Tastings, Man V Food Challenge, Chilli Eating Competitions, Magic Shows, Falconry Flying Displays, Punch & Judy, Balloon Modelling plus lots more.

August 3-4, 2019  Sandringham Food Festival - Sandringham, England
As well as our main stage at Sandringham Food Festival, where our celebrity chefs will be demonstrating throughout the day, hosted by the inimitable Mark Lloyd, we also have the FoodFood Festival piazza Roadshow stage, where we have a further line-up of chefs for you to watch, enjoy and learn from.  We also have live music from a number of local bands and artists, again playing throughout the day for your enjoyment on the designated music stage.  There is family entertainment, with workshops for all ages, the infamous Bushtucker Challenge, and for the young (and the young and heart) we also have the ever popular Pinxton food showsPuppets, as well as fairground rides.

August 6-10, 2019 - Great British Beer Festival - Olympia, London, England
This summer the Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) will once again return to London’s magnificent Olympia exhibition centre.  Britain's biggest beer festival brings together a wide range of real ales, ciders, perries and international beers.  Attendance: 50,000.

August 9-11, 2019 - West Dean Gardens Chili Fiesta
Chichester, West Sussex, England
The UK's biggest chilli festival returns. Join the party and dance to live Latin music, watch cookery and gardening demonstrations and taste delicious chilli foods 'til your tongue sizzles. Make the most of the family-friendly festival atmosphere and camp onsite with great facilities.  Browse over 140 stalls, offering a variety of quirky gifts as well as chilli foods, chilli plants, seeds and produce.  Sample spicy and exotic food from a selection of food stalls to keep you going throughout the day. There will be plenty of options for those less keen on the hot stuff and local ice cream if you need a little help cooling down!  Hot and cold drinks include speciality coffees, tea, hot chocolate, fresh fruit smoothies and more.

August 10, 2019 - Clitheroe Food Festival - Clitheroe, Lancashire, England
One of the most successful food events in the North West. Nearly 20,000 visitors enjoy the festival and experience the finest Lancashire food and drink.  Experience our ‘ World Cuisine’ chef demonstrations, sample delicious street food and take home the finest Lancashire produce, then listen to live music whilst enjoying a drink from one of our pop-up bars. Book your kids onto ‘The Food Academy’ cooking workshops or entertain them at the Castle Field fair.  Attendance: 20,000.

August 10-11, 2019  The Big Grill - Bury, England
If you like your meat cooked low and slow and served with a side of acoustic strings then this is the festival for you.  The Big Grill Festival UK will see Burrs Park in Bury transformed into one hell of a meat lovers shin dig!  Set amongst epic scale barbecues, meat smokers, sizzling street food vendors, craft ale and quirky cocktail bars, willing participants can partake of our Eats To The Beats Food Challenges.  The Big Grill, the perfect recipe for a family weekend of fun with activities for all including the little ones!

August 10-11, 2019 - Nottingham Food Festival
Wollaton Hall, Nottingham, England
The Nottingham Food Festival will be held at the stunning Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan Manor with beautiful landscaped grounds just on the edge of the City of Nottingham.  There is plenty of parking space.

August 10-11, 2019  Great British Food Festival: Westonbirt School Food Festival - Westonbirt, Tetbury, England
More than ‘just another food festival’, The Great British Food Festival combines the nation’s love of great food and drink with some of the country’s most treasured locations, providing a unique opportunity to explore new flavours and beautiful venues, all at the same time! Open 10am-5pm each day. Dog friendly.  Entrance ticket includes free on-site parking and free access to the grounds, gardens and adventure playground, normally priced at £9.50 per adult or £26.90 for a family ticket!

August 10-11, 2019  Far Forest Countryside Show
Callow Hill, Worcestershire, England
Far Forest Countryside Show is a fantastic weekend with entertainment and shows and live music throughout the day.  The Food Festival is a highlight of the show and has grown every year since it was introduced a few years ago. With live cookery demonstrations and spectacular showcase of the best and finest foods, produce and drinks from around the country.  The Horticultural show is of course still at the heart of the show and after a spectacular display last year we hope for an even bigger display.

August 11, 2019  Ludlow Magnalonga - Ludlow, Shropshire, England
The Magnalonga is a food and drink walk of about eight miles. It starts and finishes in Ludlow: a journey where you combine a walk through unspoilt countryside with some of the best food and drink from Ludlow and the Welsh Marches.

August 17-18, 2019  Isle of Wight Garlic Festival
Newchurch, Isle of Wight, England
Garlic ice-cream, jelly beans, fudge and beer are just some of the unusual garlic-based items that may be sampled. The festival attracts 25,000 people.

August 20-24, 2019  42nd Peterborough Beer Festival
Peterborough, England
Draught real ales, traditional ciders & perries, and European bottled beers. Sponsored by Campaign For Real Ale.

August 21-24, 2019  24th Clacton-on-Sea Real Ale and Cider Festival
Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, England
A real campaigning festival, Clacton-on-Sea isn't the biggest but it is certainly perfectly-formed. At the end of August, traditionally coinciding with the Clacton Airshow, the event showcases great real ale in this busy seaside town.

August 24-26, 2019  Benington Lordship Gardens Chilli Festival
Stevenage, Herfordshire, England
A very popular family event attracting thousands of visitors and offering a chance to buy Chilli plants, products and sample foods from around the world. Stalls are set up in the sheltered courtyard and Rose Garden where many different dishes are cooked fresh. A wide range of refreshments is provided to help you cool down, including cold beers and ice creams.

Open 10am-5pm each day. Dog friendly.  Entrance ticket includes free on-site parking, free entry to the gardens and reduced price tours of the building!

August 25 , 2019  Marathon du Malton
Malton, York, North Yorkshire, England
Inspired by the Marathon Du Medoc in France's wine region, this new food and wineathlon goes through an area of Yorkshire famous for its award-winning local produce and spectacular countryside.  Starting and finishing in Malton's pretty market place, there will be ten food and drink stops around the pretty 10k course. Runners are encouraged to take their time, pace themselves and enjoy the party atmosphere, fancy dress and gourmet food stops.  On offer will be local specialties like award-winning craft beer and wine, miniature Yorkshire puddings with roast beef, macarons from the UK pastry champion and even pan fried grouse on toast!  The race starts and finishes in the market place of Malton where a party atmosphere will be created with runners and families in fancy dress. There will be “carb parties” in town the night before.

August 25-26, 2019  Kent Country Show - Birchington, Kent, England
Whether you be a Country Show fan, an avid foodie, a dog lover, want loads for the kiddies to do, love living history or simply want a fun filled day out, our shows are for you.  Support small producers and handmade with some wonderful shopping experiences.  Watch and admire our Rural Crafters demonstrating all day and making some pretty amazing things or why not enter your dog into our Dog Shows.  There is also something for every music lover out there.  Enjoy lunch listening to some up and coming musical talent.  We have a variety of shows within shows to keep young and old occupied with excellent main ring attractions,  Celebrity Chefs, some wonderful and unique children’s attractions, are you interested in gardening?, living history, model aeroplanes, tractors, classic cars, horses the list is endless.

August 28, 2019  Newlyn Fish Festival - Newlyn, Penzance, Cornwall, England
NO FESTIVAL IN 2019.  The Newlyn Fish Festival will be taking a break - will return in 2020.

August 29-31, 2019  Feast Taunton - Taunton, Somerset, England
Food & Drink Festival.  Feast is a celebration of the West Country's best local food and drink. From the farmers who rear organic livestock in pristine meadows, to microbreweries that create some of the most complex flavour profiles - we would like to share everything our unique part of the world has to offer.  Come for the daily workshops. Almost every hour is filled with a different topic or skill to learn. Or you can nip in and out of the cooking demos - led by top chefs and filled with great tips and recipes.  Bring the kids for a day out to enjoy our kids only activities, scheduled throughout Saturday & Sunday.

Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire, England
There will be a host of well known celebrity bakers taking to our kitchen demonstration theatre, where they will be showing you how to make the perfect cakes and how to avoid that soggy bottom.

August 28, 2018  Newlyn Fish Festival - Newlyn, Penzance, Cornwall, England
The Newlyn Fish Festival will be taking a break for 2018, will return in 2019.

Situated in the prestigious Walton Hall & Garden grounds. This  great landmark venue will host up to 20 plus of the best chilli producers in the UK selling the best chilli products around. Also to fill your hungry tummies there will be lots of  great food to eat and chilli drinks to wash it down with. This event is all about chilli and nothing else.

The Festival is set on the beautiful Martello green. It is short walking distance from the pier and the town’s other main attractions. Plenty of parking will be available.  The Festival Is Free!  Lots of stalls selling scrumptious food. You can have a picnic or buy some great local and international produce to take home.  Amble around, try a sample before you buy.  Free Celebrity Chefs Kitchen Demonstrations.  Sit down and enjoy finding out how to cook some wonderful dishes. Buy the ingredients and cook a meal to remember.  Real Ale, Cider Bar, Juice, Chilled Lager, Champagne, Wine, Jugs Of Pimms.  Enjoy a drink with your food or just relax in the bar.  Free Entertainment And Music All Day!

August 6-9, 2015  Huddersfield Food & Drink Festival
Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England
West Yorkshire's biggest food and drink festival. Tastes and products from all around the world. Cookery demonstrations with chefs from local restaurants and different cultures sharing their secrets and recipes. Children can learn about food in a cookery theatre; children's story telling, balloon modelling and face painting.  Attendance: 50,000.

August 31, 2015  The Kent Festival of Bees - Canterbury, Kent, England
'Bee Inspired'   Bee Produce and Honey Show Competition.  Throughout the day, there will be live bee demonstrations, displays of beekeeping products such as honey, wax, candles and confectionary, short talks lasting half an hour each on all aspects of beekeeping and plenty of amazing bee products to buy. There will be hands on activities, crafts, face painting, candle-making demonstrations and children will be able to see bees in a special observation hive.
