AMBERBOCK BEER SAUCE FOR WINGS

The Kansas City Barbeque Society Cookbook

Lew Miller: Either smoke or fry some wings until crisp, toss them in this sauce before serving and enjoy a cold one!
Makes about 3 cups


INGREDIENTS

    • 1 (12-ounce) bottle Michelob AmberBock beer or your own favorite
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tablespoon hot red pepper flakes
    • 1/2 cup hot sauce
    • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    • 1/2 cup molasses


DIRECTIONS

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
