APPLE CRANBERRY CRISP

Makes 8 servings.

4 medium-sized OHIO Granny Smith apples (about 11/3 pounds)
1 (1-pound) can whole cranberry sauce
1 cup uncooked quick rolled oats
1 cup flower
1 cup dark brown sugar (firmly packed)
1/2 cup butter
2 tblsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon


Peel apples and slice thin.
Arrange in square 10x6-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Spoon cranberry sauce over apples.

In large bowl, stir rolled oats, flour and brown sugar together.
Cut in butter until evenly mixed and crumbly.
Sprinkle over cranberry sauce layer.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes, until apples are cooked through and top is lightly browned.

Serve hot with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
