Alfred Charles Kinsey

(June 23, 1894 - August 25, 1956)

Alfred Charles Kinsey is famous for the two books his Institute for Sex Research published, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior of the Human Female (1953). However, he was also a world authority on the taxonomy of gall wasps, and also wrote Edible Wild Plants of Eastern North America (1943).
