CUP

The U.S. liquid cup is 14 7/16 cubic inches or 236.59 cubic centimeters.

The U.S. dry cup measure is equal to 1.164 liquid cups.

In Great Britain the cup is the same for both dry and liquid, equal to 1.20. U.S. liquid cups or 284.14 cubic centimeters.
In both systems two gills make a cup and 2 cups make a pint.
