THE WAY TO A MAN'S HEART

Rocks
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 scant cup butter
1 lb. walnuts (chopped)
3 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 lb. raisins (seeded and chopped)
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon [baking] soda, dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water
A few grains of salt
Cream the butter, add the sugar, then the eggs.
Reserve part of the flour and mix with the fruit and nuts.
Add the rest of the ingredients and lastly floured fruit.
Drop from teaspoon on buttered tins, not near together.
