FLANK STEAK WITH CILANTRO SAUCE
Yield: 3 servings
MARINADE FOR FLANK STEAK 1 1/2 lb Flank Steak 2 Garlic; cloves; sliced 2 tb Olive oil 1/2 c Red wine
CILANTRO SAUCE 1 c Cilantro; coarsly chopped 1/3 c Olive oil 1 tb Red onions; very fine mince Salt & pepper
FOR SERVICE 2 Loaves of fresh Flatbread
[1) Combine ingredients for marinade and marinate Flank Steak overnight. [2) Combine all ingredients for Sauce and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. [3) Grill Flank Steak, turning once. About 10 minutes for rare. [4) For service, slice diagonally, and arrange overlapping slices on warm Flatbread.
Drizzle with the Cilantro sauce.
