CHILI, CHILI CON CARNE

During the filming of the movie 'Cleopatra' in Rome, Italy during the 1960s, Elizabeth Taylor had chili from Chasen's Restaurant in Los Angeles flown in daily.

Chili is the official dish of Texas.

Texas has 2 official chile peppers, the jalapeno and the chiltepin (both used in its official dish, chili).
