CHERRIES JUBILEE

Cherries Jubilee is a dessert created by Auguste Escoffier in honor of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It consists of cherries flamed tableside with sugar and Kirsch (cherry brandy) spooned over vanilla ice cream.
