WOW-WOW SAUCE

Wow-Wow Sauce was created by Dr. William Kitchiner (1775-1827), an optician, telescope maker, gourmet and famous cook. He wrote 'Cook's Oracle,' which was a bestseller in both England and America.

Wow-Wow sauce is made by mixing brown roux with bouillon, vinegar, mustard, and catsup, simmered until thick, then adding parsley, pickles, and chopped walnuts.
