PEAS, GINGERED SNOW PEAS

Serves 4

1 pound fresh snow peas (or 1 12-oz. pkg. frozen snow peas, thawed)
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons dry sherry 


Cooking Directions
Clean snow peas, trimming if necessary.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.

Stir in snow peas, garlic and ginger.

Sauté for 2 minutes, until peas are tender.

Toss with sherry.

Serving Suggestions
Put a pork tenderloin in a 450 degrees F. oven to roast, heat some French bread alongside and stir up these flavorful snow peas on the stovetop: Dinner in 20 minutes.
