FESTIVE CRAB SPREAD

Yield: approximately 2 cups
 

Ingredients

    1 cup Florida blue crab meat
    1 Florida egg, beaten
    1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
    1 tablespoon milk
    2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    2 tablespoons chopped green onions
    2 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds
    Assorted crackers
     

Directions

Remove any remaining shell or cartilage from crab meat.

In mixing bowl, combine egg, cream cheese, milk and Worcestershire sauce.

Add crab meat and onions; blend well.

Turn mixture into an 8-inch, glass pie plate.

Top with toasted almonds.

Cook in microwave oven 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Serve warm with crackers.
