SWEET PICKLED PEARS

1/2 peck pears (1 gallon)
2 pounds brown sugar
2 cups cider vinegar
1 oz stick cinnamon
whole cloves


Boil sugar, vinegar and cinnamon for 20 minutes.

Stick each peach with 4 cloves.

Put in syrup, and cook until soft.

Cool and store in jar.

Cut pears in half to use.
