SPICED VENISON MEATBALLS

Serves 8 - 10 as an appetizer


4 slices whole wheat or white bread, cut into cubes
1/2 cup Florida skim milk
1 Florida egg
1 small onion, chopped
2 teaspoons chopped Florida garlic
2 tablespoons dried oregano leaves
3 tablespoons dried mint leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound ground Florida venison

 
In a bowl, combine bread cubes and milk; let stand 5 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Roll into 1 inch balls and place on greased baking pan.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
