Serves 4.

1 16-oz. can pork and beans, drained
1/3 cup bottled barbecue sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tart apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped
1/2 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon raisins
2 strips bacon, chopped 

Cooking Directions
Mix together all ingredients in a 1-quart casserole; bake uncovered in a 350 degrees F. oven for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Serving Suggestions
Standard baked beans "doctored" with chopped apples and a smoky flavor.
