Chestnuts

TO PEEL CHESTNUTS:   Cut an X on the flat side, place in a shallow pan and cover tightly with foil. Roast at 450 for 20-30 minutes, shaking the pan once or twice if needed.  Remove them from the oven and peel them while they are still hot. If they cool off too much they will become hard to peel - so just put them back in the oven for a minute to reheat.
