CRANBERRY PIE 2

Fix-it And Enjoy-it Cookbook

Makes 6-8 servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Baking Time: 35-40 minutes


Ingredients
• 2 cups fresh cranberries
• 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
• 1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
• half a stick (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp. almond extract
• 2 eggs, slightly beaten


Directions
1.
Pour cranberries and nuts into a greased 10" pie pan

2. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar.

3. In a mixing bowl, add remaining sugar to butter and blend together thoroughly.

4.
Stir in flour and almond extract and mix together.

5.
Add eggs and blend well.

6. Pour over cranberries and nuts.

7. Bake at 325° for 35 to minutes.
