June 26-July 4, 2021 - Pembrokeshire Fish Week Festival
Pembrokeshire, West Wales, Wales
A celebration of Pembrokeshire's wonderful fish and seafood - not to mention its spectacular coastline.  The events and activities feature around fish and shell fish, eating out, fish cookery and preparation demonstrations, angling competitions and coaching, on water adventure and outdoor activities, waterway travel, environmental and educational activities, arts, craft and culture and for all ages!  Attendance: 25,000.

July 19-22, 2021  The Royal Welsh Show 2021
Llanelwedd, Bilth Wells, Wales
Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Show has become an important event in the Welsh calendar attracting some 240,000 people over the course of the four days and is supported by approximately 15,000 staunch members.   Attendance: 240,000.

November 29-30, 2021  Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Winter Fair
Llanelwedd, Bilth Wells, Wales
Set in the heart of rural Wales and priding itself on being the best primestock event in the UK, the Royal Welsh Winter Fair has something to offer everyone.  The main attraction for the event is, of course, the tremendous display of livestock, with an average of 1400 entries in both the livestock and equine competitions each year, showing off the best of British farming.

April 27-May 3, 2020 - UK Coffee Week - Wales, UK
Coffee Week is the nation’s biggest celebration of coffee. It provides an opportunity for the coffee and foodservice industry to unite while raising money for Project Waterfall, the charitable initiative delivering clean water projects in African coffee-growing countries.

May 11-17, 2020  National Vegetarian Week - UK, Various locations, Wales
National Vegetarian Week (NVW) is the annual awareness-raising campaign promoting inspirational vegetarian food and the benefits of a meat-free lifestyle. Celebrated by the Vegetarian Society since 1992, the Week is now an established event that gets bigger and better every year. (also: www.vegsoc.org )

May 16-17, 2020  Smallholding and Countryside Festival
Llanelwedd, Bilth Wells, Wales
EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Royal Welsh Agricultural Society.  With an emphasis on celebrating rural life, the festival will still be packed with all different types of livestock, horses and other animals taking part in a busy two-day schedule of competitions and displays.  Free talks and workshops or pick up some useful advice from the ‘getting started’ stand. Stock up on the essentials from the agricultural and smallholding themed tradestands.  No Royal Welsh event would be complete without its offering of food and drink… the food hall will once again be bursting with regional producers from Wales and the border counties, showcasing the very best produce for you to eat straight away or enjoy at home.  Popular street food area, complete with live music.  Gardening stands, wool handling competitions and shearing demonstrations.  As usual all the other attractions and popular areas will still be there for you to explore and enjoy. Hundreds of horse classes, scurry driving, vintage vehicles and caravans. The Country Life area which features the only Premier Open Dog Show held in Wales, the Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival, children's activities, country pursuits and much more.  Attendance: 25,000.

May 24-25, 2020  Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival
Cowbridge, Cardiff, Wales
Cowbridge Food & Drink returns to the Vale of Glamorgan market town for the twelfth year this May.  The delicious event will be held over the Bank Holiday weekend.  This year will be no exception as food lovers will experience a new, more open festival with a mixture of marquees and traditional stalls. Visitors to the Food Court will be given a taste of the incredible variety of produce the Vale of Glamorgan has to offer with both local and global cuisines from BBQ to souvlaki and fajitas to paella.  Tickets are available from £5 a day or £8 for a weekend ticket

July 3-5, 2020  Cardiff Food and Drink Festival - Cardiff, Wales
Cardiff Food and Drink Festival is one of the most popular highlights of 'summer in the city'. Come and sample an array of mouth watering produce from local, national and international food and drink producers. Grab a bite to eat from the Food Piazza or a glass of bubbles from the Champagne bar and soak up the atmosphere and listen to live music from the bandstand.

July 25, 2020 - Lampeter Food Festival - Lampeter, Ceredigion, Wales
EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2020 DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Lampeter Food Fest is set to take place in the grounds of the University of Wales Trinity St David Lampeter between 10am and 5pm.  ‘Gwyl Fwyd Llanbed – Lampeter Food Fest is under the management this year, that is completely independent of the previous establishment.  Around 90 stallholders are booked to attend, bringing you an assortment of cuisine ranging from streetfood and seafood to sweet treats and artisan preserves and drinks.

Cardigan, Ceredigion, Wales
Cardigan's River & Food Festival has grown to attract thousands of people to the town every year. Now in its fifteenth year, our objective remains the same, to celebrate the quality and diversity of the superb local independent food producers that abound in Wales.  Come and experience the taste of REAL local produce from award winning cheeses to rare breeds of meat, produced and sold by people who really care about their food.

EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  The Neath Food & Drink Festival will host around 75 exhibitors at the two day event, including award winning suppliers from Neath's famous Indoor Victorian Market. The festival is a celebration of local produce and Neath's historic market town atmosphere.

October 3, 2020  North Wales Vegan Festival - Wrexham, Wales
70+ fantastic stalls, world food caterers, exciting cookery demos, inspirational talks, interactive workshops, yoga and children’s activities running throughout the day at Plas Coch Sports Centre, Wrexham, North Wales from 10.30am – 4.30pm.

October 3 , 2020  Newport Food Festival - Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales
EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Newport Food Festival celebrates the city’s strong, diverse and vibrant food sector and this annual event brings food enthusiasts to the city centre.  There will be chef demonstrations, masterclasses, family activities, the final of the Teenchef competition as well as a wealth of exhibitor stalls selling the very best food and drink produce.  Attendance: 14,000.

The Event includes market stalls and cookery demonstration marquee with street entertainment, on Saturday 3rd March there will also be live music and a parade.

March 16, 2019  Viva Vegan Festival - Swansea, Wales

May 11-12, 2019  National Mills Weekend - Various, Wales
Celebrating the UK's milling heritage on the second weekend of May each year. National Mills Weekend is the annual festival of our milling heritage and provides you with a fantastic opportunity to visit mills, many of which are not usually open to the public.

July 7, 2019  Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival - Aberaeron, Ceredigion, Wales
Over the years, the Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival has grown to be one of the highlights of the food calendar in Wales. Several thousand people are expected to flock to the quayside this summer to see and taste the best of local seafood, fish and other produce.

August 3, 2019  Annual Cardigan County Agricultural Show
Cardigan, Ceredigion, Wales
West Wales' Premier Agricultural Show.  The main emphasis of our Show is the Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Goat, Pigs, Dogs and Poultry classes, which attract exhibitors from all over the Country and to use this day to try and educate children and people of the importance of agricultural activities.  Our trade exhibitors increase year on year bringing you the best in British Farm Produce, the latest tractors and farm machinery and cars to anything for the garden. From clothing and jewellery to hand made cards, there is something for everyone. With various displays to keep you entertained throughout the day a Dog Show, Food Hall, Fun Fair – rides and stalls for children, a beer tent and much more you will be sure to have a great family day out.

August 3-4, 2019  Big Welsh Bite
Ynysangharad Park, Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wale
sThe Welsh Food Show, organised by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, promises to be a fabulous fun-filled family event.  All produce available at the Big Welsh Bite will be grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders themselves, resulting in a scrumptious range of local produce.  From cupcakes to Indian spices, there will be something for everyone and a range of food to eat on site.  Visitors can also enjoy FREE family entertainment and cookery demonstrations throughout the weekend, last year over 13000 enjoyed the delights on offer.  For more information or if you are a food exhibitor and would like a stall at our event, please contact: events@rctcbc.gov.uk

August 22-24, 2019  33rd Swansea Camra Annual Beer and Cider Festival
Swansea, West Glamorgan, Wales
This year’s event will not only feature more than 100 real ales, but also more than 60 craft-brewed ciders and perries, with a cooling system to ensure they are served at the perfect temperature.  It is being held in the Brangwyn Hall, St Helen’s Road, Swansea, SA1 4PE.  There will be live musical entertainment on all days as well, plus a range of hot food.

October 25-27, 2019  Gwledd Conwy Feast - Conwy, Wales
North Wales` biggest food festival, this tasty two-day event is held within Conwy`s medieval town walls and on its quayside. Gwledd Conwy Feast features Conwy's world famous mussels, collected in the Conwy river estuary for hundreds of years. The event boasts 150 stalls, celebrates the best of Welsh chefs and local produce and attracts 25,000 visitors. Varied programme of cookery demonstrations, music, entertainment and workshops and children's activities.  Attendance: 25,000.

December 8, 2019  The Welsh Vegan WinterFest
Cathays Park, Cardiff, Wales
The Welsh Vegan WinterFest is back for its second year in 2019! With everything you need for an ethical vegan Christmas. Building on the success of our 2018 event, we will have over 60 vendors, including ethical Christmas gifts, amazing vegan street food to suit a range of tastes including gluten free, a festive lineup of cookery demonstrations, getting you ready for Christmas, and informative talks! Visit the Family Room for children's crafts, family seating and free face painting.  Entry is £3 in advance or cash on the door. Under 16s free.

June 2-3, 2018  Monmouthshire Food Festival
Caldicot, Monmouthshire, Wales
The Monmouthshire Food Festival comes to you with a full programme of demonstrations, talks, tastings and lots of food and drink to try and buy.   The Cookery Demonstration Theatre features many of the finest chefs from across Monmouthshire. They will showcase the finest food the county has to offer in dishes that show both flair and imagination, a positive treat for the tastebuds.  The Look and Learn Theatre features master classes, tutored tastings and demonstrations on a wide range of food and drinks. Come and learn how to make bread or enjoy a chocolate tutored tasting and many more.  The Children’s Quarter, once again hosted by a team from Monmouthshire Youth Service, will have lots of activities for our young foodies to enjoy with one or two surprises!  The Producers Market will have stalls with many different products to try and buy. Come and taste beer brewed just a mile from the festival and take home a loaf or some gorgeous donuts made just six miles away.
