March 1, 2022  Olney Pancake Race
Olney, England
At 11:55 am on Shrove Tuesday each year, energetic local ladies in traditional housewife attire (including skirt, apron and scarf) run 415 yards through the streets of Olney  carrying a frying pan. Pancakes are tossed at the start of the race and the winner must toss her pancake again at the finish. The race has been run since around 1445 and since 1950, the contest has been an international event between Olney and the town of Liberal, Kansas in America.

Farm Expo offers machinery, supplies, and services for the agricultural industry. With tradestands, seminars, debates, and networking opportunities, Farm Expo looks towards the future of farms, farming, and rural enterprises. Organised by the Kent County Agricultural Society and free to attend, Farm Expo is a key date in the agricultural calendar.

March 4, 2020  The British Pie Awards
Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England
Sponsored by the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie Association, the festival celebrates the heritage of the British pie, promotes regional specialties, supports British produce and recognises the craft of bakers, butchers and other producers.  Please note this event is not open to the public, however piemakers are very welcome to observe the judging.

Brings together over 150 exhibitors each year from the UK and overseas and features the Guild of Fine Food's live, interactive theatre of teach-ins and workshops.

March 8-9, 2020 - RAW Artisan Wine Fair - London, England
POSTPONED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS CONCERNS.  150+ growers will showcase 500 natural wines, made without the use of sythetic chemicals in the vineyard and few, if any additives in the cellar. A series of events will include talks by keynote speakers.

March 14, 2020 - Essex Vegan Festival - Colchester, Essex, England
80+ fantastic stalls, world food caterers, exciting cookery demos, inspirational talks, interactive workshops, yoga and children’s activities running throughout the day at Colchester Charter Hall from 10.30am – 4.30pm

March 14-15, 2020 - World’s Original Marmalade Awards & Festival
Dalemain Mansion & Gardens, Cumbria, England
Annual World's Original Marmalade Awards & Festival takes place at the historic Dalemain Mansion in the Lake District.  The Marmalade Awards is the leading competition for open-pan marmalades recognised nationally and internationally. Bronze, Silver and Gold awards will be given with a Double Gold to the outright winner.

March 15, 2020  Holiday & Leisure Show - Dover, Kent, England
The Holiday and Leisure Show, launched in February 2013, attracts over 2,000 quality visitors of all ages - from not only Kent and Sussex but from as far afield as London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk and focuses on the many varied leisure opportunities that exist throughout the South East, as well as national and international destinations and attractions.  The show is associated with major tourism bodies and has been endorsed by: Tourism South East -as the Group Travel show for the Kent region. Our massive events in Liverpool! Helping you to Live A Better Life with 130 stalls offering everything from delicious vegan food and drink to natural beauty and handmade gifts!  Vegan bars, cookery demonstrations, talks and workshops will add to the events.  Saturday March 23, 2019 and Saturday September 21, 2019.  10am - 5pm - St George's Hall.

March 28, 2020  Birmingham Vegan Festival - Birmingham, England
We can report that Birmingham Vegan Festival, organised by Farplace UK Animal Rescue, is returning to the city in 2020. The 100% vegan celebration will be held at Edgbaston Stadium. It will feature 90 vegan stalls as well as cookery demos and talks. Stalls will showcase a range of vegan products from perfume, skin care and makeup to clothes and food.

March 28-29, 2020  Spring Food, Home & Craft Fair
Cressing Temple, near Witham, Essex, England
Cookery and other demonstrations take place throughout the weekend and your entry ticket includes these. Demos from Chef/Compere Ondine Hartgroves (Masterchef), Ian Cumming (BBC Bake Off) Saturday, Saira Hamilton (Masterchef Finalist), Sunday,  launching her new Cookery Book as well as Victoria McNeill the British Herbs expert. EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2019.  The original promoters are no longer organising this event and, as much as we’d like to be able to host it again in 2019, the Milton Rooms doesn’t currently have sufficient volunteers to take on the substantial amount of specialist planning and management required.  We will keep in mind the possibility of 2020 event and review again during the first quarter of 2019.

March 23-24, 2019  VegfestUK Brighton - Brighton, England
VegfestUK Brighton is a celebration of all things vegan with loads of stalls serving awesome food as well as bodycare, clothes, accessories, gifts and also lots of campaigning groups and merchandise, plus stacks of info, talks, demos, performances, passion and positive energy. March 28-April 6, 2015  Funtastic Fudge Hunt - Clovelly, North Devon, England
20 fudge stones will be hidden in the village for 10 days leading up to and over Easter.  Find one and take it to the Fudge Shop at the Vistor Centre and discover how much fudge you have won.  If you find Number 20, you will win a whole kilo of fudge made up of eight different flavours - what a treat!  And you can come back and try again.  One stone redeemable per visiting family per day.  Normal admission charges apply, please consult website for details.
