Highlights of the Dingle Peninsula Food Festival include a taste trail in over 60 outlets, where festival goers can purchase taste tickets and sample local cuisine delights in locations that vary from pubs, and galleries to shop and restaurants.  Plus lots of on street entertainment, music and fun for all the family!

August 28, 2021 - Iverk Agricultural Show 2021 - Piltown, Kilkenny, Ireland
Attracting over 20,000 visitors, the Iverk Show is Ireland's oldest and one of the largest one day agricultural and family shows. There is something for everyone from Bonny Baby to Most Appropriately Dressed Lady and four show jumping arenas featuring International Show Jumpers. There are All Ireland Championship finals and classes in cattle and horses/ponies including the richest cattle class (€20,000) in Europe. A poultry marquee features over 300 birds. There are fruit, flower, vegetable and honey classes. The cake, jam and savoury section garners huge support while the Great Cherry Cake competition attracts over 100 entries.   Attendance: 20,000.

July -, 2020 - Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival - Kilmore Quay, Wexford, Ireland
EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  NEW DATES WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN DUE COURSE.  Centered on seafood, fishing, and fun for all the family, events include an angling competition, children's activities, photography exhibition, music, arts, and parade. Local restaurants compete to create the best and most exciting seafood platter.

Castlewellan, Down, Northern Ireland
EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2020 DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Held within the beautiful grounds of Castlewellen Forest Park, the event is recognised as one of the foremost one-day shows in the country and is a good day out for the family.

Derry, Londonderry, Northern Ireland
Come and see why the legacy of the Foyle Maritime Festival has earned it the reputation between crews past and present for being the penultimate stop over despite fierce competition from other host cities like Cape Town, Seattle  and New York among others. With a range of keynote events, live performances, visiting ships and boats as well as water activities, food trails and animated zones it’s no wonder that this award winning, nine day maritime extravaganza is one of the most eagerly anticipated events taking place in Northern Ireland in 2020.

July 1-31, 2019 - Féile na Mara / Achill Island Festival of the Sea
Achill Island, Mayo, Ireland
Féile na Mara is a culinary celebration of Achill's rich heritage with the sea, showcasing the bountiful harvest of the Atlantic Ocean. Events include cookery demonstrations, seaweed safaris, fish markets, seafood BBQs, and a family sandcastle competition.

August 8-12, 2019 - Carlingford Oyster Festival - Carlingford, Louth, Ireland
Four days of Oysters galore, Oyster Pearl Hunt, World Crab Fishing Contest, Street Entertainment, Oyster Tent, Food Markets, Sailing Regatta, and the Famous Carlingford Seafood Chowder. Enjoyment for all the Family!

August 25, 2019  Oughterard Show - Oughterard, Galway, Ireland
This year we are delighted to be celebrating our 56th Annual Show. Preparations are well under way and we hope to provide a varied, engaging and family fun day.  There are numerous classes for horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, dogs and domestic arts section.  We are delighted to announce the return of Best Dressed Lady, Best Hat Competition, Bonny Baby, Little Miss/Little Master competitions and a new competition for Junior Miss Oughterard. A variety of childrens entertainment will be available on the day. Prizes galore to be won.

Tentative Dates.  Highlights include an oyster eating competition, gala ball, concert & dance, children's entertainment, vintage car displays and raft race.  Attendance: 15,000.

September 5, 2019 - Food, Retail & Hospitality Expo Ireland
Dublin, Ireland
The purpose of the Food, Retail and Hospitality Ireland has a singular focus — Bring together retailers, foodservice companies, hospitality groups, regulatory groups and key suppliers of equipment, technology, food and services to Irelands commercial kitchens and food retailers, in order to facilitate sharing of knowledge and best practise as well as offering an unrivalled opportunity to connect key buyers from the food retailing, foodservice and hospitality sector with key exhibitors supplying into these sectors.

September 5-7, 2019  Dublin Beer Circus - Dublin, Ireland
Beer, Food & Music.  A celebration of Irish craft brewing, live music, and fabulous Irish artisan food stalls. Family entertainment during the day includes creative workshops for children, face-painting, street performers, and much more!

September 6-8, 2019  Waterford Harvest Festival
Waterford, Kilkenny, Ireland
The Waterford Harvest Festival takes place throughout Waterford City  with something to suit all taste buds.  Waterford City’s main thoroughfares will be transformed into a smorgasbord of flavours, aromas and heritage with festival markets, harvest kitchens, wine appreciation classes, junior food craft classes, celebrity cooking demonstrations and much more.  Events will include the Festival Market on the Mall, Enterprising Food Market, Harvest Kitchen, Oyster Festival, Viking Rocks Craft Beerfest, Trad Craft Corner, Farm to Fork, Picnic ‘n’ Play in the Park, GIY GROW Fest, and the Big Taste in John Robert’s Square. This year’s festival promises a congruence of sights, sounds, tastes and aromas with cookery demonstrations, foodie films, tastings and workshops, all making Waterford City one big street party for Harvest weekend.

Promotes quality food and drink originating in the counties of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. The Festival is intended to provide an opportunity where producers can display, promote and sell their products in a well organised and professional Festival venue. We are inviting visitors to bring recipes from their mothers and grandmothers to create a recipe book of traditional local dishes.

Galway, Ireland
Each September, Galway City comes alive with seafood & oysters as it celebrates the Galway International Oyster & Seafood Festival, the most internationally recognised food festival in Ireland and the world's longest running International Oyster Festival. Throughout the festival, a host of tantalising events to whet your appetite will take place, including; a seafood trail in some of Galway city’s finest restaurants, Taste of the Sea/Blas na Mara - showcasing Galway's seafood heroes, the Bollinger National Oyster Opening Championship, The Food village at The Festival Marquee, the World Oyster Opening Championship with Guinness, a Mardi Gras event through the streets of Galway and the Festival Finale with family activities, kids fancy dress, live music, cooking demonstrations, 'Hot Oyster Awards' cooking challenge, Irish Coffee making and jive & jazz.  Attendance: 22,000+

NEXT EVENT IN 2020.  A family friendly festival in the 'Salmon Capital of Ireland', incorporating the Ballina Street & Arts Festival. The program includes a triathalon, Fly Casting Day, motorbike show, raft race, street music, fireworks, and more.

Derry, Londonderry, Northern Ireland
The best of local, clean, fair food will be on the menu when Derry City and Strabane District Council welcomes the return of the Slow Food Festival on the 7th & 8th October in the Guildhall Square.  Slow Food is a global, grassroots organisation that promotes true enjoyment of good food with the commitment to community and the environment. Join us for a major two- day celebration showcasing the best of local, clean, fair food from across the North West.
