September 5-6, 2020  Shrewsbury Food Festival
Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England
A festival of food and drink, with local craft, unsigned bands and family entertainment.  Some of the nation’s favourite chefs will take to our demonstration stage to dazzle and delight during our fun-filled weekend.  We’re proud of the 200-plus exhibitors who will provide artisanal food and drink in our courtyard settting, in Shrewsbury’s beautiful Quarry Park. A fringe will focus on micro businesses.  Celebrating local restaurants, producers and craftspeople in a family-friendly environment is the aim of our festival.

The award-winning Ginger and Spice Festival is making a welcome return this September for a celebration of all things spicy during British Food Fortnight. Set in and around the centre of the medieval Shropshire town, Market Drayton, the festival celebrates the local culinary heritage with links to the ancient spice routes and what is thought to be the oldest gingerbread in the country! On Saturday enjoy a spicy street market including a food theatre with top chefs, spice trail, children’s food classes, gingerbread baking contest and much more! This is a brilliant event with lots of history loved by all the traders. In Colchester's beautiful Castle Park in the centre of Britain's oldest recorded town. The Festival has a celebrity chef kitchen and is in its 8th year.  Attendance: 10,000

September 1, 2019 - Lobster and Crab Feast - Clovelly, North Devon, England
We pay tribute to Clovelly's famous lobsters and crabs with a day of live folk music, quay kitchens, beer tasting, a prize draw, arts and crafts stalls and cookery demonstration.  For the children there's street theatre, walkabout magic, balloon modelling and The National Trust event-themed craft activities.  The Red Lion Harbour restaurant will be offering lobster and crab platters, with a complimentary glass of bubbly.  The National Lobster Hatchery, Padstow, will bring along a tank of baby lobsters, to be later released into the sea. Normal admission charges apply, please consult website for details.

September 1-3, 2019 - Speciality & Fine Food Fair - London, England
Speciality & Fine Food Fair is the leading UK trade event that exclusively targets food and drink buyers from the speciality and artisan food industry. We are now preparing for our annual Speciality & Fine Food Fair and it is going to be better than ever.

September 6-7, 2019 - Oxford Wine Festival - Oxford Union, Oxford, England
The Oxford Wine Festival is a unique weekend in a magical city. Sample, sniff and savour hundreds of award-winning and rare wines from over twenty countries, as well as take an exclusive look inside one of Oxford's most iconic venues - the Oxford Union. September 6-8, 2019  Berwick Food and Beer Festival
Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England
Organised by Berwick’s Slow Food Group, the festival is a unique chance for visitors to find out more about the thriving local food scene in Northumberland & the Scottish Borders.    Combining a showcase for local food producers with events celebrating the culture and heritage of food in the region, it makes a great day out. And there’s a wide-ranging programme of events throughout the Festival weekend.

September 7-8, 2019 - Leamington Food & Drink Festival
Royal Leamington Spa, South Warwickshire, England
It's a wonderful two day culinary extravaganza, which will once again include an exciting programme of live cookery demonstrations in our open air kitchen, lot's of free tastings, live music from local artists and the extremely popular Taste Trail. Whether you're a serious foodie or someone who just appreciates good food and drink, there will be plenty to entertain you at the festival.

September 7-8, 2019  The Surrey Chilli Festival
East Molesey, Surrey, England
We aim to have up to 100 different stalls which will consist of food stalls, market place traders and drink outlets showcasing their products, and of course that chilli theme piece!  As with all our events that we put on we love to have that community family feel so there will be a couple of rides and some inflatables for the children to enjoy but keeping our main focus on the event being around the Chilli food festival.  There will be lots of Chilli themed competitions, tasting and games happening.  there will be a number of acts performing to the public throughout the day while you sit and relax in our seating area enjoying the vast array of different cuisines on offer. There will also be a number of different bars offering various beverages ranging from Champagne to branded lager for everyone to sit and enjoy.

September 7-8, 2019 - Malton Harvest Food Festival
Malton, North Yorkshire, England
Game from the moors, shellfish from the coast. What Malton does best!  A festival of live demos from Michelin starred chefs, cookery lessons, talks, tastings, family entertainment, 60 produce stalls, festival bar, live music & the best Yorkshire street food!  The Festival is free to enter with amazing live music all day and linked trips to Talbot Yard Food Court to taste the famous Made in Malton products!

September 7-8, 2019  Bexhill Festival of the Sea - Bexhill, England
At the heart of the weekend event is conservation of marine life and our wildlife. You can see demonstrations of seafood cookery and cooking with foraged foods.   Enjoy over 50 stalls highlighting local Sussex produce and global seafood cuisine, English wines, arts & crafts, free angling coaching, children’s fun fair, Morris dancing, belly dancing and a full line up of continuous live music.  The highlight of Saturday’s event will be the Guinness World Record attempt of the Largest Gathering of Mermaids. Come see all the lovely mermaids/mermen and merbabies. Better yet, don a tail and come along. A mermaid-only swim at the Bexhill Leisure Pool is arranged.

September 13-15, 2019  Ludlow Food Festival - Ludlow, Shropshire, England
A Feast of a Festival.  Held every year in Ludlow, the small town with the large reputation for good food and drink - this year's Festival will feature more than 130 top quality small independent food and drink producers from the Marches, the England-Wales border country.

September 14, 2019 - Big Olney Food Festival - Olney, England
This 2 day food and music spectacular is organised by the volunteer group Olney Events.  More a street party than a food festival it is a lovely event that raises funds for local charities.

September 14-15, 2019  Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival
Sturminster Newton, Dorset, England
All the usual favourite food and craft stalls will be there with a few new additions and lots of great music on both days. Gather your foodie friends together and come to sample some of the finest food and drink in the South West.

September 14-15, 2019  Hastings Seafood and Wine Festival
Hastings, East Sussex, England
Whatever your tastes, there should be something for everyone at the town's seafood and wine festival, to be centered around Hastings' historic fishing beach The Stade.  Attendance: 45,000.

York's Food and Drink Festival in September is set in and around the city's many unique historic venues. The main focus is local and regional food and drink.

September 21-22, 2019  Cambridge Food Craft & Produce Fair
Cambridge, England
Ever fancied entering your beautiful home-grown fruit or veg in a Produce Show – well now’s your chance. There are also classes for Baking, Jams and pickles as well as other homefares including flowers and flower arranging.  You can also sample and browse amongst our terrific range of arts, crafts, food, drink, homewares and lifestyle stalls both in our large marquees as well as outside trade stands.  Smallholding display so you can learn how to keep your very own chickens or even bees or simply grow some simple herbs.  All day programme of cookery demonstrations from well known as well as local chefs and other foodies and all for free!  Attendance: 18,000.

September 21-22, 2019  Alnwick Food Festival
Alnwick, Northumberland, England
The Alnwick Food Festival has been an important feature of Alnwick’s autumn events calendar since 2005 when it was founded by Don Watson. The Festival provides a showcase for local food producers and locally produced food. It coincides with the harvest time and is a natural time to celebrate local produce.

September 15-16, 2018  Eat Your Hert Out Food and Drink Festival
Hertford, Hertfordshire, England
The two-day, family-friendly Eat Your Hert Out Festival brings together some of the very best independent restaurants and pubs in Hertfordshire. Each establishment will be hosted under one roof in a luxury marquee and asked to prepare one or two signature dishes that visitors will have the opportunity to purchase. These gourmet tasting plates will be available throughout the day for visitors to sample whilst enjoying the entertainment, fine wines, boutique local beers, and exciting artisan spirits.  Entertainment is in the form of Foodie master classes for both adults and children, including one from a very special Great British Bake Off guest. There will also be a programme of children’s entertainment, local bands and a DJ - Eat Your Hert Out will be a foodie’s paradise and a weekend to remember for all the family.  Eat Your Hert Out will not only bring the Hertfordshire foodie community together, it will support a local charity by donating 50% of its’ ticket sales to the local school which is the venue for this years' festival.

September 3-4, 2016  East Anglian Slow Food, Food and Drink Festival
Castle Park, Colchester, England
Chefs will be coming from Marche and Sicily. Cookery demonstrations will take place all day.  Add lots of music, picnic area, food and drink stalls. Plus The Pike Staff Inn real ale bar and Stock and Baily’s champagne and Prosecco bar and you will have a wonderful time.  Slow Food’s Taste Adventure for kids will be there and of course kids under 14 are FREE for the whole event.  Adults are £2 for a whole day.  Kids 14 and under FREE.  Ample parking FREE.  All the profits from the Festival go to Slow Food Anglia and local charities.

September 10, 2016  Fishstock Brixham

Seafood and Music Festival.  The celebration of the harvest of the sea, the fishing industry, Brixham and music is back!

September 10-11, 2016  Northamptonshire Food Show
Holdenby, Northampton, England
Now in its New Homd and New Date at Delapre Abbey Park in Northampton this annual celebration of all that is good to eat and drink from across the region and beyond as well as an abundance of arts, crafts and gift stalls from which to sample and buy. As well as a full programme of cookery demos from Sophie Grigson (Sunday) and TV's Matt Tebbutt (Monday).  Well behaved dogs on a short lead welcome, but not in the Food Hall.  Admission on the gate: £5, concessions £4, Free Parking.
