• 1/4 cup water
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons instant espresso coffee granules
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

FILLING
• 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoons instant espresso coffee granules
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
• 2 bars (5 oz each) sweet dark baking chocolate
OR 1 bar (9.7 oz) semisweet dark baking chocolate, chopped

GLAZE
• 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
• 1/8 teaspoon instant espresso coffee granules
• 1 to 2 teaspoons milk or whipping cream

Directions
1.
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13 X 9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. In large bowl, beat all brownie ingredients 50 strokes with spoon. Spread in pan. Bake 28 minutes. Remove from oven.

2. Meanwhile, in small bowl, beat 1/4 cup butter and the brown sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until light and Huffy. 4. In 1-quart saucepan, melt chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon butter over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat.
