GINSENG

Ginseng is any of several plants of the genus Panax of eastern Asia. There are also several similar species found in North America. The aromatic root of ginseng has been used for medicinal purposes in Asia  for thousands of years. It has been reputed to cure cancer, diabetes, aging, sexual disfunction, high blood pressure, and many other disorders. It is also used in tea, tonics, spirits, and in cookery. Its curative powers have never been scientifically documented. It is acknowledged as a stimulant, like coffee or tea.
