TOILETS

In Florida, a 7th grade student recently won a school science fair by proving there was more bacteria in ice machines at fast-food restaurants than in toilet bowl water.(2008)

According to University of Arizona researchers, TV remote controls in hospital rooms are worse carriers of bacteria than the toilet handles.

The Alfred Hitchcock film 'Psycho' was the first film to show a toilet flushing. The character Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) was shown flushing a toilet with a torn up paper swirling in the water.

The American Airlines Sports Center in Dallas, Texas, has the most toilets per capita of any sports and entertainment venue in the U.S.

Ping pong balls are very difficult to flush in a toilet.
