PUFFED BRIE & PEAR BITES

Makes 36.

1/2 (17.3-oz) package frozen puff pastry (1 sheet)
1 (15-oz) can sliced Bartlett pears in light syrup, drained
1/2 lb. wedge Brie cheese
Dried cranberries 


Preheat oven to 400°F.

Thaw puff pastry at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Roll out into a 14-inch square on a lightly floured board. Cut into 36 equal squares.

Place cut pastry squares in cups of mini muffin pan.
Coarsely chop pears and place a few chunks in the center of each pastry square.

Trim away outer edge of Brie and cut cheese into small pieces; place over pears.

Top each with 2 to 3 dried cranberries.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

Serve warm.
