	Egidio Galbani (early 20th century) In 1906 Egidio Galbani created Bel Paese cheese, a popular Italian cow's milk cheese. Its name means 'beautiful country,' and supposedly comes from a book written by Father Antonio Stoppani, a friend of the family.
