MAPLE JACK PORK CHOPS

Opposites definitely attract. Robust Dijon mustard and mellow maple syrup come together in a caramelized glaze that makes meaty pork loin chops a cut above. Sweet onions and a tipple of Jack Daniels add an unexpected twang.
Slow Cooker Recipe: 4 or 5-quart slow cooker
Prep 5 minutes
Cook Low 4 to 5 hours
Servings 4

Ingredients

• 1 large sweet onion, peeled and sliced
• 4 boneless, thick-cut pork loin chops, rinsed and patted dry
• Salt and pepper
• 1/2 cup pure Grade A maple syrup, Spring Tree®
• 1/4 cup whiskey, Jack Daniels®
• 1 tablespoons Dijon mustard, Grey Poupon®

Directions

1. Place onions in the bottom of a 4-or 5-quart slow cooker.

2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, whiskey, and Dijon mustard. Dip each pork chop into the syrup mixture and place in slow cooker on top or onions. Pour remaining syrup mixture over pork chops.

3. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4 to 5 hours.
