March Winemaker Dinner Series In Los Angeles, California

In true Patina fashion -- Downtown Los Angeles, California is the place to be in March! Joachim Splichal and his team of Executive Chefs have created an exclusive Winemaker Dinner Series for true wine and fine dining enthusiasts to explore. Splichal’s legendary Patina Restaurant Group is hosting the series with evening events at Cafe Pinot, Nick & Stef’s and Zucca Ristorante…all in downtown Los Angeles.

Patina Restaurant Group’s March, 2007 Winemaker Dinner Series

Nick & Stef’s Steakhouse will host the Chappellet Winemaker Dinner on Monday, March 19. The eldest son of Napa Valley’s Chappellet family, Cyril Chappellet, will introduce six of his family’s award-winning varietals, including their widely acclaimed estate Cabernet Sauvignon, paired with executive chef Brian Kiepler’s culinary creations. Reception will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the dinner following at 7 p.m. $105 per person including tax & gratuity. For reservations please call 213-680-0330.

Zucca Ristorante celebrates the Boscarelli Winemaker Dinner on Thursday, March 22. Owners and winemakers of the Boscarelli Winery in Tuscany, Ampelio Bucci and Luca De Ferraris Corradi, will present five fabulous wines, including the legendary varietal Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, known locally as the “king of all wines.” Reception will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the dinner following at 7 p.m. $80 per person including tax & gratuity. Cafe Pinot will continue the Winemaker Series with Champagne Dinner on Thursday, March 29. In France, Champagne is regarded not only as a refined libation, but as a superior way of life. Master of Wine, Charles Curtis will present six true French Champagnes paired with newly appointed executive chef, David Féau’s sensational cuisine. Reception will begin at 6:45 p.m. with the dinner following at 7 p.m. $120 per person plus tax & gratuity. For reservations please call 213-239-6500.
