TUSCAN TOMATO SOUP WITH BASIL

 

Start to Finish 10 minures
Makes 4 servings


Ingredients
• 1 can (28-ounce) whole peeled tomatoes with basil, Progresso®
• 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
• 1 cup frozen chopped onion, Ore-Ida®
• 1 teaspoon crushed garlic, Christopher Ranch®
• 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, McCormick®
• 1 cup white wine, Chardonnay
• 2 tablespoons chopped Fresh basil leaves


Directions
1.
Put tomatoes in a blender and puree.

2. In a medium pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes. Add pureed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and wine. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve garnished with chopped basil.
