APPLE FRENCH TOAST WITH BANANA SAUCE

Gary Null's Power Foods: The 15 Best Foods for Your Health

Makes 2 Servings.


Ingredients
• 1 cup rice milk or soymilk
• 1/2 cup applesauce
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 tablespoons egg replacer
• 4 slices date nut Essene bread
• 3 tablespoons coconut oil, macadamia nut oil, or mustard seed oil
• 3 bananas, peeled, pureed
• 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
• 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped


Directions
1.
In a medium-size bowl, combine the rice milk or soymilk, applesauce, cinnamon, vanilla, and egg replacer, and mix with a whisk or fork.

2. Soak the bread on both sides in the mixture.

3. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Fry bread until light brown on both sides.

4. Top with banana puree, syrup, and nuts.

5. Serve hot.
