SUN DRIED TOMATO BASIL DIP

12 servings 
Preparation Time: 35 Minutes 

INGREDIENTS
1/2 dried tomato halves, snipped into thin strips
1 carton (8 ounces) sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper


DIRECTIONS
1.
Soak dried tomatoes in hot water until soft, about 10 minutes; drain.

2. In food processor bowl, process tomatoes until finely chopped. Transfer to bowl. Add all remaining ingredients; mix until blended.

3. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.

Serve with French-fried potatoes or roasted potato wedges
