Doctors' Warnings
I used to feast on foods I savored
All juicy, rich, and amply flavored.
My meal times were a gourmet dream
Where taste and pleasure reigned supreme
Till doctors warned from book and podium
To beware of sugar, fat, and sodium.
Now I eat in fear and check the label
And there's nothing good on the kitchen table.
