Feeding A Baby


    When you feed a baby and want to please it

    Give it food that feels and looks like goo.

    It will gladly grab a handful just to squeeze it

    And just as gladly throw it all at you.

    With oatmeal, pudding, pureed food, or jello

    Little boys and girls behave the same.

    Although it's usually the little fellow

    Who throws with greater force and better aim.

    Most babies learn while being socially trained

    To never throw at others anything that smears.

    But some refuse to keep that urge restrained

    And grow up to pursue political careers.
