Café con Leche

Latte, bucci, Colombian all
brewed or pressed
it’s coffee
grande or tall.

I’ll drink what’s up
so I won’t come down.
The aroma alone
makes a smile from a frown.

If I had a choice
of a drink from the urn,
I know to what version
my palate would turn.

It’s on every corner
in the Southernmost City,
so for the locals
you will have no pity.

It’s very rich coffee
infused with cow juice,
that’s steamed so intensely
that the froth it does loose.

It’s in every hand
on the street where we live,
and you gotta have it every day
it’s addictive I’ll give.

What is this magical
cup full of joy.
It’s cafĂ© con leche
I’m ready ma boy!
