2 pounds Unsalted butter
8 cups granulated sugar
16 whole eggs
2 cups sour cream
2 2/3 tablespoons vanilla
2 tablespoons baking soda
8 cups bananas -- mashed
2 teaspoons salt
12 cups flour, all-purpose -- sifted
Cream sugar and butter together.
Blend eggs into sugar mixture a few at a time.
Mix the baking soda with the sour cream and vanilla, and add to mixture.
Gently fold in mashed bananas until well mixed.
Mix salt and flour together. Then gradually add to banana mixture.
Add a little at a time, but work fast.
Bake in greased pans at 375 degrees F. for 50 to 55 minutes.
