Annual Guyra Lamb & Potato Festival

The festival aims to showcase local products, especially lamb and potatoes. There will be musicians playing daily, shearing demonstrations, the ever popular rail trike rides to the rail museum, various car clubs and Guyra will also host the annual antique machinery display and swap meet which is one of the biggest in Australia.

Orange F.O.O.D Week is a gastronomical celebration and extravaganza held over 10 days in April each year. The show for the food and hospitality industry.  Foodservice Australia is the event where food and hospitality professionals come to see the latest food, drink and equipment. The Wild Taste Bud Festival was developed with the knowledge of the amount of abundance of natural wild foods within Australia as well as the creative talent within the food industry.  Australia is one of the most multicultural countries in the world, and nowhere is this represented more clearly than in our cooking.  This will be an experience that will make you think differently about food.  Wild Taste Buds Festival will be challenging for your senses and taste buds. The festival will be a two-day extravaganza, a highlight of the Tasting wild foods from Australia.  Even though there will be an entry fee into the event, we hope to attract more than 30,000 visitors.  The challenge for those participating as vendor's will be to create  food from the wild, this could be E.G Cricket ice-cream, worm patties, or create something more simple like chilli mushroom pate from the wild , these are just a few examples, your imagination is your limit.  We are hoping to have more than 100 food and drink experiences from the wild as well as produce to buy from the walk about shopping center.  There will be merchandise to buy within the festival and on our website.  The first Wild Taste Buds Festival will be held in Sydney and then the following year will be introduced to the rest of the States and Territories within Australia.
