CAKES

Plumb Cake

Mix one pound currants, nutmeg, mace and cinnamon one quarter of an ounce each, 12 eggs, one quart milk, and a sufficient quantity of raisins, 6 pound of flour, 3 pound of sugar, 2 pound of butter and 1 pint yeast.
