TEN CAN SOUP

Fan Fare Cookbook: 120 Slow Cooker Recipe Favorites
by Mary Engelbreit

This soup is a family favorite and sooooo easy to make. We make it on the first really cold day of fall and the first day we have snow.  When we come in from the cold, it really warms us up.
Makes 6 to 8 servings

INGREDIENTS

• 2 pounds lean ground beef
• 2 (29-ounce) cans homestyle (larger cut) mixed vegetables
• 1 (15-ounce) can cut green beans
• 1 (15-ounce) can potatoes (precut or cut at home)
• 1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans
• 1 (15-ounce) can sweet corn
• 1 (10-ounce) can tomatoes with green chiles (we use mild)
• 2 (10-ounce) cans condensed minestrone soup
• 1 (15-ounce) can cut green beans with potatoes (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, about 12 minutes.

Drain and transfer to a 6-quart slow cooker, then add the other ingredients with their liquids until full.

Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
