FORK TREE
The Fork Tree This pleasing and amazing Tree never grows above four hundred and sixty-three feet in height, - nor has any specimen hitherto produced above forty thousand silver forks at one time. If violently shaken it is most probable that many forks would fall off, - and in a high wind it is highly possible that all the forks would rattle dreadfully, and produce a musical tinkling to the ears of the happy beholder.
Edward Lear, English artist, writer; known for his 'literary nonsense' & limericks (1812-1888) 'Nonsense Trees'
