PEI's top chefs compete for the title of the Island Grilled Cheese Champion. Sample them all and pick your favourite. Meet local cheese makers and sample their cheeses. Our special guest is Food Network's Chef Anna Olson. She'll be cooking up a cheesy dessert inspired by Prince Edward Island cheese. Come out and meet Anna Olson and sample her cheesy dish.

July 12, 2014  Culinary Bootcamp: Island Flavours
Prince Edward Island, Canada
Come and learn why this culinary experience was named, by the Canadian Tourism Commission, as one of Canada's Signature Experiences!  With inspiration from here and abroad, chef will take you on a delicious culinary journey through PEI’s local bounty- shellfish, beef, pork and, of course, potatoes. Local products will be used in creating a flavourful menu that each participant will savour and go home with new skills to bring into your kitchen. Pastas, breads, salads, fish and meat are just a few of the dishes we will put together throughout the day.  This experience includes a trip to the local market where you will pick out a few seasonal, local ingredients to include in your recipes.
