Now in its ninth year, Ottawa Veg Fest is a 100% vegan event, and there is no other event like it in the Ottawa market. It attracts not only vegetarians and vegans, but also those who are generally health conscious, people interested in eating more ethically / sustainably, and locavores / foodies.  $5 admission, payable at the door.  Kids under 10 are free.

June 6-7, 2018  Canadian Cheese Awards - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The 2018 Cheese of the Year and 33 category winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Tasting Gala on June 6 in Toronto at historic St. Lawrence Market followed on June 7 by the inaugural Canadian Cheese Expo for the trade and the first-ever Artisan Cheese Night Market for the public.

June 7-10, 2018  LaSalle Strawberry Festival - LaSalle, ON, Canada
This is the LaSalle Strawberry Festival's 30th year. The four-day event takes place at Gil Maure Park featuring carnival rides and games, fireworks over the Heritage Detroit River, parade, entertainment and local strawberries. Admission is $5 per person at the gate (children under 6 and seniors over 65 are free), or weekend passes are $12 per person.

June 8-10, 2018  26th Annual Rosy Rhubarb Festival

Every year, on the second weekend in June, we celebrate the plant that put our village on the map. Gardens are lush with ripe rhubarb waiting to be turned into tasty treats for families, friends and visitors. Only the best pies, tarts and cakes make it into our annual rhubarb bake-off.
