VEGETABLES
RICED APPLES Boil 2/3 of a cup of rice in sweet milk, put in a little salt and some butter. Have ready some good cooking apples; that is, have them pared and cored; put in a pan and pour the cooked rice over them. Bake till the apples are thoroughly done. Serve with cream and sugar.
