Divine Kosher Cuisine is a cookbook for everyone who loves cooking, eating and entertaining. It covers all food occasions, for all size gatherings, intimate to formal. It makes cooking and entertaining as enjoyable to the cook as to the guest with its user-friendly and engaging voice. Its menus and recipes will appeal to a broad universal audience. Americans are adventuresome eaters and cooks, the first to try something new and eager to expand their palates with ethnic foods.

The big surprise with kosher recipes is their familiarity. They comprise all the many kinds of foods we love to eat, including traditional American dishes, regional favorites and all the popular international and ethnic foods. Its distinctively international flare simply reflects all the countries and cultures where Jews have lived. Kosher recipes do not use pork or shellfish, or mix milk and meat products, a Jewish dietary prohibition. Nonkosher cooks can simply substitute with their favorite ingredients. Many of the recipes offer contemporary versions that reflect dietary trends with nondairy, vegetarian and trimmed down ingredients.

Divine Kosher Cuisine is a must for every kitchen. Whether one keeps kosher or not, the recipes are tried and true and are as failproof as you can get. I have served 'first run' entrees to guests and have had only compliments.

I have not been able to eat anything with dairy products for several years and this cookbook has given me wonderful new recipes to try. Every recipe clearly indicates whether it is dairyfree and suggests alternatives if it is not.
