The Competition (AFWC) will take place on November 3-4 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club with the AFWC Gala Dinners following on November 14th, also in Boca Raton and November 21st at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami. More than 500 wines are to be entered for judging this year and more than 300 wineries are invited to participate. A “dream team” of 22 judges, who possess top qualifications in wine knowledge, will judge the wines based on the criteria of the varietal, including character, depth, smell, taste and finish. The wines submitted for judging are among the finest produced in the Country – each is hand-picked by the winery as the best they have to offer.
