FRIED RICE Cook 1 cup rice till soft, add 2 eggs, 1 tablespoonful of flour, and a little salt and pepper. Stir all together thoroughly. Have a spider ready with a tablespoonful of butter or lard melted, drop the rice in, a spoonful at a time. When a nice brown, turn and fry on the other side. This makes a fine breakfast dish.
