SHORTCAKES AND PUDDINGS
A HASTY BREAD PUDDING
Take 5 or 6 slices of light bread: lay in a deep pan; take 4 eggs, l teacupful of sugar; beat well together, then add 1 quart of sweet milk; pour over the bread; flavor with any flavoring to suit taste — a teaspoonful of ground cinnamon sprinkled over the top is good. Bake in a hot oven.
