SALADS AND SAUCES

TOMATO SALAD
 
 
 Select as many solid tomatoes as you wish to serve people. Scald, peel, remove the core and seeds; fill the tomatoes with finely-chopped celery and cabbage, seasoned with salt and pepper; dress the whole with mayonnaise dressing and serve on lettuce leaves.
