BAKED MACARONI
Stew macaroni in slightly salted water till tender, then make alternate layers of the macaroni and cooked hominy in a deep bake dish, season with salt, pepper, and bits of butter; nearly cover with rich milk, sprinkle cracker crumbs on top, and bake.
