DUMPLINGS & FRITTERS

APPLE DUMPLINGS #1

Pare and quarter apples, place in vessel with plenty of water, when boiling make a biscuit dough; roll out the size of kettle or vessel, lay on top of apples and let boil rapidly for 15 minutes; keep covered tightly and do not remove cover till done: when done, cut the dumplings in quarters and remove; serve immediately with rich milk, sweetened.
