CAKES AND COOKIES

WHITE CAKE #2
 
 
 Take 1 1/2 cups of soft sugar, a piece of butter as big as a luck egg; cream the butter and sugar, add i cup of water, flour enough to make a good batter, 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder and the whites of 4 eggs beaten stiff. Bake in a moderate oven.
